I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the Brand Park in Glendale, California this weekend. We were invited to spend a day playing lawn games, listening to old vinyl records and enjoying a simple picnic to celebrate my dear friends Amy's birthday. The days events were set under the historic brand Library surrounded by the Japanese Tea House and a Little League baseball game. The weather was not the best but at least the rain did not come until later that evening. It is best to visit this park on weekdays when everything is open for exploration such as the The Doctor”s House, Whispering Pine Teahouse & Friendship Garden, and The Brand Museum and Library.For more on the history of the park visit this site here.
