Native Foods Experience

Finally we got to try out the amazing food at Native Foods this weekend out in Palm Desert. We tried going there once about a year ago but they were closed. Then this weekend we showed up a bit to early and had to return two more times before they opened. It was well worth the return trips because the food was simply delicious. We started off with some lavender lemonades and let me tell you they were just heavenly. A perfect combo of lemonade with a nice light taste of lavender which I absolutely loved. Once we glanced at the menu we discovered that everything on the menu just sounded so good thus we were perplexed by what item to order for lunch. I ended up ordering the OC Raw Chopper Salad as well as a small bowl of the Summer White Bean soup. My fiancée ordered the veggie pizza as he is a lover of pizza. It was amazing how fresh everything tasted and every bite was better than the last. Our server was really awesome and super welcoming since this was out first visit. We plan on going to the Costa mesa location soon to enjoy some more of Tanya Petrovna's creations. We ended up loving it so much that I purchased Tanya's cookbook and plan on making some of these to die for dishes in my own kitchen. Here's a bit of history on Tanya and a link to the restaurants menu and locations.
