Wasara

WASARA is a line of single-use, biodegradable and compostable pieces designed to accentuate whatever foods they contain.

They're suitable for cold or hot (though not boiling) beverages and foods. They're oil- and water-resistant, which makes them great for displaying food- and non-food items.

WASARA products elevate disposable tableware to a whole new level. Offering the best in Japanese design, these pieces fit comfortably in the hand, with an elegant texture and sturdy quality that are unparalleled in the category.

Sheer beauty is only half the story, though: WASARA is also an earth-conscious product. Made from tree-free renewable materials (sugar cane fiber, bamboo, and reed pulp), and fully biodegradable and compostable, WASARA is as good to the earth as it is to your culinary creations.

  1. Our caterer used the WASARA bowl and cups for one of our events just last week. It really is fantastic. The forms feel really natural in your hand. You can get it in larger party quantities at http://www.joannehudson.com/dinnerware/wasara-biodegradable-tableware.html . It's well worth the extra money to have such an elegant disposable... and no plate/cup rental or washing fees!
