E-Shoot Sneak Peek

We spent most of this past Saturday shooting in downtown LA with Shannon Lee our photographer, the wonderful Tashina Hunter as the sylist and their friend Craig (I think, kinda having a hard time remembering his name)The day started off with a visit to my local salon Atlantic Studio for hair and make-up. I spent 4 hours there getting all decked out with a finger wave hair style and old Hollywood glamour style make-up. Thank you again Mani for the awesome make-up and Vanessa for working with my super straight hair. Then we headed off for downtown LA to our first location at the LA Historic State Park. There was a bicycle event going on in the front of the park so we had to go to the back of the park. This worked out for the best because we found a amazing dried corn field. We took so many great shoots there with unbelievably great lighting and I am looking forward to seeing them all.We had two more spots to get to after the park, which where the Downtown Public Library and Chinatown. We barely made it in time for the library as they started closing the gates about 15 minutes after we arrived and started shooting. Our last and final spot was in Chinatown. The sun had already set and all the red lanterns were aglow just as we had planned. My fiancée and I have many great memories from there and we both wanted to make sure we had time in the day to get a few shots at least. It was a long day but we had fun and we finished off the night at one of our fave restaurants Foo Chow. Here is one shot from Shannon's iPhone as a teaser. I can't wait to share the final photos when they are ready.

  2. Believe I am so excited as well. We took so many pictures it's insane. Our photographer is working tirelessly to get them done by the end of this week but again since we took so many they might be done by the end of next week. The anticipation is killing me....
