Birthday Weekend Part 2

On this past sunday my future in laws had a dinner celebration for my birthday. I was able to request what I wanted for dinner and dessert. So we had baked little red potatoes with rosemary and thyme, BBQ veggie skewers and BBQ asparagus and corn. For the meat eaters they had marinated BBQ chicken. All dishes were paired with Beaujolais Nouveau red wine and Jimmy brought some white wine that I sipped on but unfortunately I cannot recall the name right now. After dinner I got to open all my wonderful gifts and this year everyone decided to make me handmade cards as i make all my cards for everyone. I felt truly blessed to have such a loving new family. As for my gifts Steph and Jimmy got me the most amazing Chanel scarf. Amber, Renny and Teagan got me a lovely necklace and these two really cool vintage looking jar mugs. I was saving the biggest for last my future mother and father in laws got me a Louis Vuitton bag which I was not expecting at all. In the end we finished off with a double chocolate chip cake with cream cheese frosting from Creative Cakery. Now I will share some photos of the amazing handmade cards I received.
