VENEZIA: DAY 3 ACCADEMIA NEIGHBORHOOD

After our visit to the island of Murano we headed down to see the Accademia gallery. Unfortunately we did not go in as the entrance fee was a little steep and our museum pass did not apply any discounts for this gallery.

The Accademia neighborhood also houses the Peggy Guggenheim Museum and The Centre of Contemporary Art. We ended up lucking out and being there on a Tuesday when both of these art museums were closed. A little disappointed we headed back towards the bridge to find a cafe for a quick bite before heading back to our hotel.
